Rafting the Mtkvari Gorge

A guided descent on Georgia's longest river, beginning in the village of Chitakhevi and finishing in Likani. Boats hold up to six guests with a certified instructor at the helm. Best in late spring through summer when snowmelt runs high and the river runs fast.

Private Transfers

For experiences in the Borjomi area, transfers from Kokhta are arranged at reception. Both options are private — vehicle and final price determined by party size and luggage.

Sedan Transfer

Up to three guests with light luggage. Quickest option for couples or solo travellers.

Operated by trusted independent partners.

  • i.
    Third-party operators. Each experience is delivered by an independent operator vetted by Kokhta Bakuriani. Hotel reception arranges the booking and the price you see — but the activity itself is operated by a third party. A liability waiver will be provided for signature at the property before each activity departs.
  • ii.
    Subject to weather. Bookings are confirmed subject to operator availability and conditions on the day. Reception will advise on alternative timings if a booking cannot proceed.
  • iii.
    Inclusive pricing. All rates listed include the operator margin and Kokhta's coordination fee. No additional commission is added at the time of booking.
  • iv.
    Equipment provided. Helmets, life jackets and any required safety equipment are supplied by the operator on the day.
  • v.
    Children & participation. Suitability varies by activity — please ask the front desk for guidance on age and skill requirements.
  • vi.
    Cancellations. Cancellations made within 24 hours of departure may incur partial charges from the operator.
