Welcome to the Shenako Chalet
A Stone House of Your Own, High in Tusheti
In the mountain village of Shenako, Shenako Chalet offers a stay you won't share with strangers. Built entirely of local stone and wood, the house keeps the character of a Tushetian home — and adds hot water, deep sleep, and quiet.
Interior
Built from hand-cut stone and warm local wood, the interior of the Shenako Chalet reflects the soul of Tusheti — rustic, simple, honest. A fireplace anchors the living room, a long table waits in the dining area, and a sauna stands ready for the evening you come back off the mountain cold.
Things to do
Diklo and its ruined fortress lie a walk along the ridge; Omalo and the Keselo towers are closer still. Shepherds move flocks through the passes, the church bell rings for a few dozen people, and your day fills — or empties — exactly as you decide.
