Interior
The chalet is one house on two floors, and all of it is yours. A living room built around the fireplace, a kitchen you can genuinely cook in, a quiet landing upstairs, and a sauna at the end of it. Stone, timber and wool throughout — the materials Tusheti has always built with, kept as they were and warmed up where it counts.
Living Room
The heart of the house. A working fireplace, deep seating, and a long table for the meal that follows a long day outside. Windows onto the valley, wool underfoot, and room enough that eight people never feel like eight.
Second Floor
Upstairs, the bedrooms open onto a shared landing — a desk in the corner, a place to sit with coffee before anyone else is awake. Low timber ceilings and small windows framing the peaks make it the calmest part of the house.
Kitchen
Fully equipped and open to the dining area, so cooking stays part of the evening rather than apart from it. Bring provisions up with you: the last real shop is far below the pass, and nothing gets delivered this high.
Sauna
The one modern indulgence we couldn't argue ourselves out of. Heat it in the afternoon and it's waiting when you come down off the mountain — the fastest way to get a Tushetian evening out of your bones.
